Back in November, the NRA-ILA started a philosophical approach to shooting: shooting is fun because it is random and you do it whenever you feel like putting down some asshole in your life – bird or other biped – family member or just a mere intruder. So, why would anybody need to know something else about their target except that it is THEIR target? Even more unnecessary – why should anybody use their own gun, when they could use an untraceable one?
Skeptical of the NRA data (and vocabulary), TPV started its own poll to see how people felt about “smart-guns:”
Q: To the extent smart-guns have more functionality than an iPhone, and would cost about the same, would you purchase it as a Mother’s Day gift?
A: If God had intended for guns to do our thinking for us he wouldn’t have given us penises!
