Inexplicable Daily Events: Obama the Putin and the Freedom of the Press

The Deans of all American graduate schools of journalism, including the Dean of the prestigious School of Journalism at Columbia University, will be meeting with President Obama at the White House over the weekend to discuss the future of their academic programs. From the First Lady’s own blog TPV learned that this meeting’s agenda is tight, and it will address the following presidential concerns:

“I don’t welcome leaks.”
“I don’t welcome questions about myself, my administration, and my programs.”
“I don’t welcome privacy, unless it is mine and my family’s, which covers my answers to questions I receive from my mother-in-law.”
“I do not care about your opinion, because you don’t count.”
“I care about preserving America, whatever that means.”
“If you don’t like it sue me in FISA court. It approves everything I say.”

Alerted to the google searches the deans of the aforementioned schools recently performed, TPV will predict that for the next academic year many of the nation’s journalism programs will be combined with more practical degrees in tourism, such as master in hotel cleaning or master in travel agency administration.
As for the future of TPV: We are safe for now. We don’t count as journalists.

  1. Very nice, especially the end. On the bright side, maybe some future “journalist / interior design” laureate will paint your apartment.
