Kim Jong-un’s Aunt Appears to Survive Husband’s Purge. Some suspect her or her new husband

Kim Kyong-hui was named on a leadership list in North Korea’s state-run media, signaling she may have avoided the fate of her husband, who was executed last week. According to the autopsy, released this morning, he did not die of the typical “erratically arrayed gunshot wounds” of the standard North Korean firing squad, but instead, of “blunt object trauma to the head and bleeding from castration via kitchen shears.”

Kyong-hui’s new husband, Kim Sweetie Pie, insisted the former husband “was indeed purged.”

TPV observed that it sounds very much like domestic violence.

“We don’t have that,” he insisted.

You don’t have domestic violence in North Korea? We asked.

“No. No domestic violence. We have purge.”

Wait a minute, TPV interrupted. If a husband comes home and finds his wife with another man, what happens?

“Purge,” said Kim Pie.

Why don’t you just call it domestic violence? TPV asked.

“We a peaceful people. Our violence not domestic. That’s why we have the bomb,” said Kim Pie, eyeing his wife nervously who was indicating the interview was over.

  1. Nice pothole; liked: typical “erratically arrayed gunshot wounds” of the standard North Korean firing squad.
