Obama Cracks under Neocon Pressure. TLC’s Big Win!

A member of Iraqi security forces searches the trunk of a vehicle at a checkpoint, as security increases in BaghdadUsing the presidential powers given to Bush-fils by Cheney, Obama is personally deploying 275 soldiers to Iraq:

President Barack Obama told Congress on Monday the United States was deploying up to 275 military personnel to Iraq. Damn it!

Why didn’t we limit our invasion in the first place!

If you’re curious and want to know why, TPV has the answer: to drive taxis in Baghdad.

Obama said in a letter to TPV.

As the Islamic militants are currently killing everybody they catch: man, wife, cat or dog, there is no one to drive taxis in Baghdad, especially if Americans are moving in to stay, as Marquel recently reported.

  1. Got me thinking about how long it will take before war tested taxi security armaments will trickle down to NYC TLC.

And about how long it will be before war torn, kicked to the curb surviving military personnel will be driving those cabs.

  2. maybe it’s a technical issue – try clicking the “mute” button on and off a few times

  3. Love you were right! Obama is sending 300 “advisors” (that’s what they called them in Vietnam too) to Iraq. Just enough to drive the taxis.
