TheWeekholeView: Fun House Hacking

Here, each hole starts on Wednesdays and this is what fell through this past week, in more than one way or day:

On Wednesday, December 11, the biggest hacking scandal since the last one happened, and it covered Hollywood tycoons and lesser personalities, as the Guardians of the Peace hacked Sony Pictures co-chairman, Amy Pascal’s emails. That was possible, because Amy’s email password was “Amy.” TPV would have let it go, had Seth Rogen kept his mouth shut. But, when the fat guy said:

“It’s stolen information that media outlets are directly profiting from,” then TPV saluted its peers and decided to stand with the other media outlets having fun, because TPV’s currency is laughs, not Rogen’s money.

Thursday, December 12, TPV had little to rejoice when it read that Angelina Jolie was considered by her employers as not very talented, but still they paid her very well. TPV found that leak redundant, and hoped that the Guardians of Peace would do some editing next time. Everywhere in the free world,  the less talent or ability or competence one has, the more money she makes.

Friday, December 13, Tyler Perry, like a gentleman, defended Amy Pascal for having emailed something bigoted about the President. Perry was heard saying:

“Amy used to be an actress.”

On Sunday, December 14, Oprah herself came to Amy’s defense, after having realized that Amy was still considering producing “Oprah, the biopic.”

seth-rogen-james-franco-yoko-ono-and-john-lennonOn Monday, December 15, NYPD patrolling housing projects stopped short of citing two young men for “lingering,” or socializing in their building lobby during the hours when Wall Street dudes work individually to rob the country. The reason for the NYPD’s humanity was the  cuteness of the naked pictures of James Franco the young men were drooling over. TPV would like to ask James to regularly email some naked selfies directly to the NYPD headquarters.

On Tuesday, December 16, 2014, President Obama addressed the nation over the Hollywood leak, and told us that the he had had knowledge of everything Amy Pascal wrote in her emails, before we did through the leak. To note his dislike of her remarks the President had already started to address her as “Ms. Pascal” instead of the friendlier, “Amy.”

  1. nice one. You captured the gravity of the situation nicely.

    I liked these in particular:

was considered by her employers as not very talented, but still they paid her very well. TPV found that leak redundant, and hoped that the Guardians of Peace would do some editing next time.

    And

Amy used to be an actress.

  2. PS. This was nice too: To note his dislike of her remarks the President had already started to address her as “Ms. Pascal” instead of the friendlier, “Amy.”

  3. Not sure how I feel about the, granted, nice looking semi-naked male body, seems kind of sexist to me – I mean how come no one ever publishes photos of half naked women? I mean he looks like a very fit fellow but that doesn’t make me feel good, it just makes me feel – flabbier.

    See?
