Earlier in the week #FoxNews’ Tucker emancipated himself and declared COVID-19 a virus deadlier than influenza. Today, Trump declared his own independence from Jared who still believes the tooth fairy brought him Ivanka when he lost his wisdom tooth. Unlike Jared, we are told, Trump is afraid of COVID-19 and gifted us, his people, this emergency to top the one we have been dealing with since 2016.
If initially confused and unsettled, the weather didn’t help, New Yorkers quickly recovered their nonchalance once Trump announced the state of national emergency.
