Donald Trump will be sworn in on Friday with an approval rating of only 40 percent — the lowest of any recent president, a new CNN/ORC poll reveals.
Before their inaugurations, President Barack Obama had received an approval rating of 84 percent, George W. Bush 61 percent and Bill Clinton 67 percent.
“Trump’s wobbling handling of the presidential transition has left most Americans with growing doubts that the president-elect will be able to handle the job,” CNN reports.
Concerned with the new ratings, Donald took to Facebook to invite anybody and everybody to his inauguration.
The responses have been swift and many:
A president shouldn’t have to appeal and beg people to come.
Donald, you have tired the Nation before taking office.
Just hire people to act as fill ins and clappers!
