West Pointless

Some women get together and take a Halloween-like photo. They are dressed in a garb recalling an era of slavery that a tight fist raised up in the air are my feelings, too.

No one has commented on the ridiculous costumes those young black women have to wear in order to graduate.  The U.S. Military Academy at West Point decided to launch an inquiry into the photo showing 16 black, female cadets in uniform with their fists raised, because that might indicate political engagement supportive of the Black Lives Matter movement, and that could not be tolerated. In response, the media tried to fabricate some uniform response that the picture conveyed unity. Worse, the corporate media chose to keep silent about the ridiculous costumes, political symbol of an era when racism was the unquestioned political value of the day.

Abolish the ridiculous uniform, West Point. Military Academies should not show nostalgia for a racist past, because that’s making a political statement.
