With one 137-character tweet, Valerie Trierweiler, 48, the French First Lady, proved to be an amazing Lady Macbeth: She got rid of her predecessor, Segolene Royal, 58,  by killing her political aspirations and any chance to be close to her former partner the French President, Francois Hollande, 57, and of all her four step children, who had vowed to never see their step mother again.

How much more can one obtain from one tweet?  ThePotholeView considers this to be close to 100 on the CPT (consequences per tweet) scale, almost a world record. Valerie Trierweiler’s tweet endorsed a politician running against Segolene Royal in parliamentary elections.

According to The Telegraph, since the infamous tweet, Ms Royal the former partner of Mr Hollande and the mother of their children – Thomas, 27, Clemence, 25, Julien, 22, and Flora, 20, lost the election, seen her career all but ended, and been widely ridiculed across France.
