no longer question
the manner in which it falls
lays away from light
carries darkness regally
unperturbed
non apologetic…
ever defying the sun
sewn to clumsy feet
dark reflection
daylight’s ghost
black buddha of illusion
that which moves about the earth
in grace
assulting reason
inspiring man
yet leaves no stone displaced
no promise broken
no trace of reckless passage
behind.
