The White House White Board Proved Ineffective in Explaining How Rich Whites and Blacks Should Be Equally Taxed … Higher

After US Senators, in a bi-partisan move, refused to consider implementing minimum higher taxes for the very rich, the White House stopped scribbling on a white board and handed out copies of Lewis Carol’s Alice in Wonderland as this summer must-read book, especially Chapter II, The Pool of Tears, where Alice almost drowned in the pool of her own tears. This is the President’s most powerful way of shaming the Senators who refused to consider the so-called “Buffet rule.” The senators excused their sell-out move by stating that the billions resulted from taxing the uber-rich would represent mere drops in the sea of debt. Once again, the President showed the Senators that his reading knowledge is vaster than theirs.
