Henning Mankell, the acclaimed Swedish mystery writer, is rumored to be resurrecting his Kurt Wallander series with the new installment: Sweden One Step Ahead of US Demands (a sequel to his acclaimed One Step Behind).
The novel will detail the fantastic but true story of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, who spent a year and a half under house arrest for claims of sexually assaulting two Swedish women who could not remember the sexual assault taking place but could reconstruct it on paper under prosecutorial demand. Well done Sweden.
The TPV founder is looking forward to buying this Mankell sequel.
