The Times thinks that the reason behind this choice is Andrew Puzder’s (Putzder in Yiddish) belief that ugly rich men can do whatever the fuck they want as long as they share it with the other rich guys and keep the masses in their minimum wage place. Nah. That’s not the reason. Look at Putzder’s life motto and then talk:
“I like buying beautiful women especially when they are young and speaking little or no English because their price tag is often as cheap as burgers’.”
This motto’s birth lies in a 2011 statement Putzder said while having his teeth brushed:
“We believe in putting hot models in our commercials, because ugly ones don’t sell burgers,” said the CEO in a 2011 press release.
And that’s okay. Somewhat because Putzder does not want us obese. He does not want us old, which is okay if you think about it. He is thinking about the children…
“We target hungry guys, and we get young kids that want to be young hungry guys.” He continued defending the commercials as recently as last year, when he said: “I like our ads. I like beautiful women eating burgers in bikinis. I think it’s very American.”
However, the bigger problem is looming large in the next few days, right before the Planet melts down. With Puzder locked in the cabinet – TPV readers wonder – who will Trump tap as his Surgeon General?
Maybe he can get someone from Philip Morris, aka Altria. Why not Altria’s CEO Martin J. Barrington, for Surgeon General? Because if we’re going to make America great again, who wouldn’t want to live in Marlboro Country?
