I came in the park to walk on the grass bare-footed. Instead, I found a crowd of people seated and ready to listen. To music. Vivaldi’s Concerto for oboe and strings, F.VII n.6 in C Major. Superb.
Especially surrounded by fireflies.
Tonight, August 8th, marked the end of the 56th annual Washington Square Music Festival. The star was the oboe and oboist Matthew Sullivan.
TPV thanks you for an unforgettable moment!
