On Wednesday, August 20, NYC Mayor de Blasio’s choice for DOE Chancellor, Carmen Farina, defended the hiring of uncertified teachers recruited by subway ads to teach in the city’s pre-kindergarten program, one of the Mayor’s signature programs:
This is the first year that NYC has enough space for all the city’s kiddies, said the granny Chancellor. In fact, we have too much space. We hired everybody who took our subway ads seriously and applied for a job. All those people are diverse and qualified. Most used to sing carols during the Christmas break or sell Bibles and other Jesus paraphernalia at 59th and Columbus Circle or at 42nd Street, Time Square. They are people’s people.
On Thursday, August 21, Bill and Barry ate a burger and French fries with friends and family while watching TV. In different rooms. Different houses. Each with their own old spouse.
On Friday, August 22, President Obama finished his golf tournament on Martha’s Vineyard.
On Saturday, August 23, the only two people whose lives could have meaning tied the knot into one meaningful life: Brangelina!
The new life form was created at Chateau Miraval, which they own (pictured here). The ngelina was walked down the aisle by her oldest sons Pax and Maddox, while Zahara and Vivienne threw petals and Shiloh and Knox served as ring bearers, while Bra was waiting for her quietly.
On Sunday, August 24, God rested.
On Monday, August 25, both Hamas and Bibi declared victory in the war in Gaza posing for pictures on top of the rubble of one destroyed Gaza neighborhood. As crazy as it may sound, they did win: they remain the unousted, unbanished, unexpelled leaders of Gaza and Israel.
On Tuesday, August 26, a nine-year old girl went to a shooting range with her family and killed her instructor.
There is no a better way to go if you’re a shooting instructor or just a mere American, Kathy Hochul — Andrew Cuomo’s running mate — was heard to comment as an NRA connoisseur.
