Here at TPV the week is measured in holes rather than wholes, because throwing stones is more satisfying than not.

On Monday, May 16, in Zubik v. Burwell, the U.S. Supreme Court chose the popular approach to administrating justice: let the lower court do the work, especially if the issue is slightly controversial. The Little Sisters of the Poor, virginal both imaginatively and physically, thought that if they did not need contraception, why should the other less virginal poor need it. The Sisters sued the Obamacare for its contraception mandate. The U.S. Supreme Court, andropausal and menopausal, sent the parties back to the lower court to further negotiate the non-negotiable.

On Tuesday, May 17, TPV was reading the SCOTUS blog, when an add for the DivaMenstrualCup popped up. The add described them as tools helping

” women to connect with their bodies and menstrual cycles like never before.

Certainly for women in need of filling a condom, now they can do it alone: first they insert it empty and then they just wait to fill it up. Reusable and only $40.

obese kimOn Wednesday May 18,  Obama snapped a selfie to prove his presidency was, if not popular, also not transient. For similar reason, the North Korean state media released a high resolution head shot of Kim Il Sung.

On Thursday, May 19th, Republican Reps. Darrell Issa, Jeff Denham, David Valadao and Mimi Walters of California; Greg Walden of Oregon; Bruce Poliquin of Maine; and David Young of Iowa voted against protecting gays from discrimination, because their handlers told them, anti-gay rhetoric is what the Republican voters wants. Hopefully none of them likes Larry Craig’s public bathroom wide stance, because if they do, it will sting them badly.

me ne fregaOn Friday, May 20, The New York Times magnanimously published data favorable to the non-existent Democratic Presidential Candidate according to The Times, Bernie Sanders:

Bernie has the popular vote, the Times admits, because Bernie has the trust of the American people with only 33% doubting his abilities.

The good news is that The Times’ candidate, Hill-Billy, is liked by all her donors, and other corporate minions.
