Dear Readers:
This year is on its very last legs and, between us, I’m happy to see it go. It gave us a second presidential term with a eunuch as the happy alternative to a dysfunctional robot. It also kept Guantanamo up as a symbol of American beliefs in freedom. It did bring heftier annual bonuses to bosses but we balanced that nationally with more unemployment. Which brings me to the financial cliff which is looming large in Washington. I only hope that we are not going to unfairly tax the rich because they may get upset and move to Canada as the French douchebags did, when they moved to Belgium.
