For Mayor Bill de Blasio, happiness is a warm pastrami sandwich, TPV’s readers recently alerted us.
The Mayor aparently relished eating one early Wednesday morning — at breakfast time, in fact — before sending out a picture on Twitter showing a similarly heaping pile of cured meat on rye with a one-word tweet:
[de Blasio’s] America.
The message was a retort to Jeb Bush, the struggling Republican presidential candidate, who, a day before, used the same one-word tweet to accompany a photo of a handgun engraved with his name.
[Jeb’s] America.
Our readers understand that Bush is for gun violence, accidents, crime and self-defense, while de Blasio favors delicatessen assisted suicide [our readers, too…]
One word of caution for Mayor de Blasio:
