The WeekholeView: September 26 through October 2, 2012

Here each hole starts on Wednesdays and this is what fell through this past week:

Last Wednesday, September 26, 2012, Jews fasted to repent for something bad which they did the previous year. Quite an easy feast, if we compare it with the Muslim’s fast during the entire month of Ramadam or to the Christians’ who often fast two days each week. Mine ended at Peter Luger, in Brooklyn, an excellent German steakhouse.

On Thursday, September 28, 2012, George Soros decided to copy Republican billionaires and participate in the oligarchy game: bye, bye American democracy, welcome secular tyranny. The One Man One Vote has been replaced with As Many Votes for Sale As You Can Possibly Buy.

On Friday, September 28, 2012, Tiger Woods played so poorly losing his first match in the 2012 Ryder Cup (golf) that his former wife twitted the local madam to help Tiger relax.

On Saturday, September 29, 2012, Neil Young performed with his band Crazy Horse during the Global Citizen Festival at Central Park in New York and almost nobody cared.

Sunday, September 30, 2012, like so many other Sundays did not matter, because New Yorkers, like so many other Americans watched football.

On Monday, October 1, 2012, Mark Zuckerberg shook hands with Putin’s right hand, Medvedev, and promised to be respectful of the Russian oligarchy and block any anti-Putin postings on Facebook. In exchange, Mark hopes not to share lodging with Mikhail B. Khodorkovsky.

On Tuesday, October 2, 2012, The University of Toledo launched a new JD/MD program that will use an integrated curriculum to enable students to graduate with a law degree and a medical degree in six years. In this way the doctors can sue themselves for malpractice saving on attorney fees.
