Bill Clinton: Sanders’ Supporters Show Signs of Dementia

In a historic night for Hillary Clinton, her husband, Mr. Bill, took to storytelling.

“She’s the best darn change maker I ever met in my entire life,” the former president said. “This woman has never been satisfied with me on anything, and I mean it. She always wants to move my balls forward. She plays with them. She’s the best ball juggler I’ve ever seen. That’s just who she is.”

When Sander’s supporters started laughing at and booing Mr. Bill, he held up a printout of the Guardian’s website:

An increasingly twisted sense of humour could be one of the early signs of dementia, a new study has found, including laughing at inappropriate moments.

The University College London research, published in the Journal of Alzeheimer’s disease, questioned the families and friends of 48 dementia patients, who had known them for more than 15 years before their disease took hold. Many of them noted that their relatives’ sense of humour had changed.

The study found patients laughed at “frankly inappropriate” moments, including watching news reports about natural disasters, or seeing a car parked badly. One recalled a relative laughing after a loved one badly scalded herself.

When the TPV correspondent tried to argue with Mr. Bill that he used “balls” in a graphical rather than metaphorical way, and the laughs had been appropriate, he replied biting his lip:

You’re demented. Opposing Hillary is opposing me. You’re demented.

Indeed, I was sporting a smirk.
