In the 1972 Robert Redford film The Hot Rock, a gang of thieves triggers a post-hypnotic suggestion using the phrase: Afghanistan Bananistan. In response, an insider robotically leads them to the priceless jewel they are trying to steal.
In the 2016 Presidential election, Hill-Billy Clinton is using the establishment phrase, “#Establishment #Bananisment” to bully and intimidate any and all US Senators and Representatives from breaking from the Democratic Party consensus and endorse Vermont Senator and Presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders.
Fortunately, Hawaii is a US state and its US Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, and former DNC vice chair, was courageous enough to break from her party’s consensus and backed Bernie Sanders.
She sees a “clear difference” between Hill-Billy Clinton and Sanders:
One is a two-headed creature, Hill-Billy, who keeps barking “establishment bananisment” and “democratic theocratic.” It has repeatedly backed interventions that were ultimately harmful to American security. On the other hand, Bernie is this normal man, skeptical of regime change, who believes that military force should be used only as a last resort. I, Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, endorse Bernie.
