TheWeekholeView Goes Brexit

Brexit-EU-referendum-Cameron-cartoonAt TPV the week is flexible and if we could, TPV would make it a giant hole so it could catch everything falling through it. Here is what fell through with Cameron this week.

Saturday, June 18, the United States Supreme Court Justices were enjoying their last weekend take out delivered by illegal immigrants who would start being kicked out of the country two days later.

Sunday, June 19, Barack Obama met with Bernie Sanders to thank him for doing what no other Democratic apparatchik had the courage to do, say a few words for the sake of the masses.

Monday, June 20, Bernie Sanders was the first to fall this week. He fell on his head when his revolution ended with a mumble.

“In all likelihood, I’ll vote for Hill-Billy.”

Tuesday, June 21, once a darling of the US and a Madagascar vice Prime Minister–Zaza Manitranja Ramandimbiarison, updated his Linkedin profile as “self-employed,” since 2007. Trump said,

Exactly like me.

Wednesday, June 22, Trump called David Cameron and suggested he should make Britain great again by building a wall around the island. Cameron hung up. His line was going to be cut off anyway.

Thursday, June 23, Trump decided to invest in the UK pound and to wait until it fell low enough it became good only for Trump Casino chips.

Friday, June 24. British Prime Minister David Cameron announced he would resign his post if that would help

steady the Elizabeth II cruise ship in its sail to the US.

No one had a clue what he meant.

  1. Nice. I especially liked the Supreme Court’s final take-out and Cameron’s hanging up on Trump (because his line was going to be cut anyway)

  2. I say don’t be too hard on BS (as a friend called him) he’s still holding his endorsement, I think, as someone who ran in the Democratic primary he’s doing the minimum sucking up, and maybe being a little tactical to try to leverage something.

Not that he’s going to get it – but to me the appeal of Bernie has always been that he’s trying.

That said, I still liked “he mumbled…”
