The NY Times reported that an Anti-Apartheid Figure Joins South African Opposition. It’s time to return to apartheid, he says.

A black south African politician is calling for a return to apartheid.

It’s not comfortable eating with these honkys, traveling with them, sharing the beach with them, going to school with them.

But that’s absurd rejoinded Marquel. It hasn’t been a month since what’shisname’s death and you want to go backwards.

“It’s not backwards,” said Reggie Rejohndo. “This is forwards. We have homelands for them and they’ll be much more comfortable with their own kind.”

Marquel thought it regressive and asked, “But what’s wrong with them?”

“They smell. They can’t speak our English, and they drag the performance of our schoolchildren down. They’re not even good at sports.”

For instance?

Have you seen them run? They put these expensive shoes on and our barefoot boys literally lap them in the thousand meters. The only time they go fast it’s when our boys are coming around the track for the second time. The minute the white boys see them coming, they run like hell. I’ve heard them say to each other, ‘run for your life!’ but they still get lapped, those that are left. Many of them simply flee.

“Well they must be good at something,” said Marquel.

“They’re just lazy,” he continued, “They clip coupons to earn a living. I don’t even know how they do it. When I use coupons I always have to pay for the first item. You see, they’re clever … and lazy. They also spread AIDS and herpes.”

“Not any more than other groups, surely,” said Marquel.

Actually much more. Who can pay for prostitutes? Rich white people.

But how do you know if they’re infected?” Asked Marquel.

Take a look at them, man. They so ugly. Pale, wrinkled, shuffling like they do. Tell me that isn’t AIDS.

Marquel was interested in how this former anti apartheid activist had changed so abruptly.

You’ve got to live with them for awhile. Then you see how inferior they are. At the beach they lie in the sun till they’re red, then I can’t bear to tell you what they do next,” said Reggie.

Marquel urged him then begged him to continue.

Well, this is unbelievable. They go into the water. Into the water. And then they swim. Like an animal. An antelope or hippo. Our people can’t stand to see it. They’ve ruined our beaches.
