Only when he is cruising,
a foul-mouthed reader told us.
Anyway, everybody knows that Texas Gov. Rick Perry once wrote a book about the Boy Scouts and the group’s role in upholding conservative values. We still have to read it, but we, at the TPV, understand that he might be upset by the group’s decision to allow openly gay scouts.
Why do we think so? Because conservatives are known to value privacy. Conservatives enjoy serving each other and perhaps the country, but “privately,” and the “openly” gay allowance will only create confusion in public – who is and who isn’t conservative – and much annoyance at home.
We feel your pain, Rick.
