While TPV’s world headquarters are only blocks away, TPV refused to spend too many hours watching the fire destroy some posh tenement building.
But when TPV saw what its sister publication ParisMatch posted some pictures taken in good taste, then TPV decided to repost one of them: It is a picture which showcases the New York City Firefighters. They bravely contained the fire to one building.
Too bad, they could not save the Belgian Fries store right next door to the Japanese kitchen explosion. R.I.P. 15 dips and crunchy, though meaty, fries!

Terrible Collateral Damage: Best NYC Belgian Fries
Nicely done.
In these terrible times, we are all New Yorkers so I’m asking you to donate your spare potatoes, cooking grease, and condiments, so the hungry writers at TPV may one day soon dip again
thanks. my the force be with you!
It’s a particularly nice match of text to image.
ParisMatch work!!! That’s why TPV had to wait to report!
And so INTERNATIONAL: French photo grab, American disaster, Italian-American fire fighters (I’m guessing…), Belgium Fries and American text (with Romaniac inflection…)
