Be flexible. Triangulate

NEWPORT, R.I. — Yesterday, former championship figure skater Michelle Kwan received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Salve Regina University. For those like me who have never heard of Salve Regina University, please note that it is a university in Newport, Rhode Island. Founded by the Sisters of Mercy, the university is a Catholic, co-educational, private, non-profit institution chartered by the State.

Kwan addressed the graduates saying: “Be flexible. Triangulate. If you fall get back on the horse and do it all over again.”

This was the first outreach mission of the former champion who made the impossible seem possible.

Since last week, Michelle works for Presidential wannabee Hillary Clinton. On general policy issues and outreach.

  1. Didn’t know they had horses in skating, I’ll have to take another look – or is that part of the flexible thing?

  2. Triangulation to these people means what Bill did to destroy the democratic party. To get votes, the be all and end all, they triangulate between extreme right wing republicans and right wing republicans.
